Precision Massage doesn’t diagnose or prescribe, but often people are told they are suffering from tendinitis when the real condition they have is called tendinosis. Allow me to explain.
Tendinitis is inflammation of your tendons, from overuse or trauma. This condition is more temporary and also far less common in an aging population than tendinosis, which is a chronic degeneration of tendon tissue that often leads to pain, stiffness and restricted movement.
Precision Massage works to restore normal tendon length and function, by manipulating the damaged soft tissues causing the underlying diagnosis.
In other words, your tendons will not lengthen or strengthen by themselves once they are damaged. And once enough damage accumulates, you’ll very likely experience pain, stiffness and restricted motion. Precision Massage can help you overcome both tendinitis and tendinosis, but only if you come in for a visit to address your soft tissue imbalances.
