Clients often come in after a knee replacement surgery with complaints of continuing pain in their knee. Precision Massage does not diagnose or prescribe, but oftentimes it appears the soft tissues that were pulling the knee joint out of place are still tight and restricted, sometimes more tight and restricted, after the surgery is successful.
During the rehab phase, it’s vital to target the tight and restricted soft tissue structures surrounding areas of surgical intervention. Whether it’s a knee, or a shoulder, or a spinal disc, often times the pain is coming from soft tissue imbalances that must be addressed.
Precision Massage actively targets areas of soft tissue damage with the goal of returning the tissues to more normal length and function. If you have post-surgery pain please consider adding Precision Massage to your rehab protocols.
